
Nur Soylu Yalçınkaya is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, Boğaziçi University. Her research focuses mainly on social identities and intergroup relations. She is interested in understanding how people make sense of social categories like gender, race/ethnicity, nationality, and immigrant status, and perceive differences between social groups. Her work examines the construction and experience of social identities within particular cultural settings, as it relates to intergroup processes such as prejudice and justification of social inequalities.
